How it works

Reputation cover in three steps

01

Connect your SES

Connect with your AWS credentials and we set up the SES event notifications for you, or point your own Amazon SNS topic at us. SES Monitor never sends email on your behalf.

02

We watch 24/7

Every delivery, bounce and complaint is tracked and measured against the thresholds AWS enforces: 5% bounce and 0.1% complaint.

03

You act first

Alerts by email and webhook as bounces and complaints come in, so you can fix the cause hours before AWS notices.

Everything SES leaves out

The dashboard AWS never gave you

All features →

Bounce & complaint tracking

Every hard bounce and spam flag, with the reason, recipient and message that caused it, so you can clean lists instead of guessing.

Reputation dashboard

Current and historic delivery, bounce and complaint rates per domain, always measured against the AWS thresholds.

Alerts & digests

Email alerts when bounces and complaints happen, plus daily, weekly and monthly summaries with CSV reports straight to your inbox.

Webhooks & API

Pipe delivery, bounce and complaint events into your CRM or your own dashboards the second they happen.

Why SES monitoring matters

One bad send can pause every email you deliver

Amazon SES enforces sending reputation at the account level. If your bounce rate crosses 5% or your complaint rate crosses 0.1%, AWS can place your account under review, or pause your sending entirely. When that happens, everything stops at once: password resets, receipts, invoices, onboarding emails.

The SES console shows you the numbers, but it won't watch them for you. Most teams learn about a bounce spike from the AWS review email, after the damage is done. SES Monitor exists so you find out first, while it's still a five-minute fix: a stale list, a broken signup form, a mistyped domain.

FAQ

Questions teams ask before connecting

What happens if my SES bounce rate goes over 5%?+

AWS treats a 5% bounce rate and a 0.1% complaint rate as enforcement thresholds. Cross them and your account can be placed under review or have its sending paused. SES Monitor alerts you as bounces and complaints arrive, long before those levels, so a spike stays an incident, not a suspension.

Does SES Monitor need permission to send email from my account?+

No. SES Monitor receives copies of your sending events through Amazon SNS notifications. It can never send email on your behalf, modify your identities, or change your message content.

How quickly will I know about a bounce or complaint?+

Your sending events are pushed to SES Monitor by Amazon SNS in real time, and alert emails and webhooks go out shortly after. If you prefer a calmer cadence, daily, weekly and monthly summaries cover everything instead.

Which AWS regions and account setups are supported?+

You choose your SES region when connecting, and you can monitor multiple sending domains and multiple AWS accounts from one dashboard, which is how agencies use SES Monitor to keep several client accounts healthy at once.

How is this different from the SES console?+

The console shows a current snapshot and keeps little history, and it never taps you on the shoulder. SES Monitor adds long-term reputation history, per-domain breakdowns, the recipient and reason behind every bounce, email alerts, digest reports, CSV exports and real-time webhooks.

What does it cost?+

Plans start at $7/month. There are no contracts and you can cancel anytime.
